If seafood is your thing then this challenge is for you. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this much seafood in one place at the same time in my entire life. Adam from Man v. Food decided that this was a worthy challenge and managed to take down all 7 lbs of food in under an hour, crowning him only the 2nd person (at the time of the taping) to complete this challenge. So if you’re looking for a good seafood challenge then this is your place, but it doesn’t end there. They also have 2 more challenges that you can partake in. The Land Lubber’s Challenge is catered to those that want the same experience as the Davy Jones Locker challenge, but don’t like seafood. Challenge: Davy Jones Locker Challenge consists of Soup or Salad, 2 lbs. of Snow Crab, 1 lb steamed mussels, 1 lb fresh shucked, local, deep fried jumbo clams, 6 grilled shrimp skewers (42 total shrimp), 2 Jumbo crab & shrimp stuffed filet of sole, corn on the cob and coleslaw.

Last night Adam took on a sushi challenge that will make even the biggest man break down in tears, the Hellfire Sushi Challenge. Not only do you have to eat 6 spicy tuna rolls that are jam packed with some ridiculously hot spices and sauces, but to even qualify to eat the level 7 rolls you must first eat 1 roll from the 4, 5 and 6 levels of hotness. So if you enjoy sushi and you enjoy burning your tongue and throat, I would highly suggest heading out to the Salt Lake City area and checking out Kobe Japanese Restaurant’s Hellfire Sushi Challenge.

I’m not going to lie, I missed the challenge last night on Man v. Food so I don’t know whether or not Adam was able to complete the massive 6 pounds of Alaskan King Crab, salmon cakes and reindeer sausage, but I still wanted to make the post this morning so all you people of Alaska, or those of you heading up that way, know where to find this incredible challenge. I’m not a big seafood guy, but the challenge does sound absolutely delicious.

The Bushido Japanese Restaurant in Charleston, SC was featured last night on the Travel Channel’s Man v. Food. Adam set out to destroy the Spicy Tuna Handroll Challenge which is 10 spicy tuna rolls that get spicier and hotter as you move up the levels. Only a few people have been able to complete the challenge and I don’t want to spoil the results from last nights episode, but Adam did pretty well. This is going to be a regular thing, on Thursday mornings I will post the challenge from the previous nights Man v. Food episode and then later in the day I will post another all new challenge for you to check out.
