One giant pancake wouldn’t be enough for this challenge, but top it with a 10-egg scramble of your choice of 4 toppings along with cheese and potatoes and now we’re talking! The Grand Slam Challenge at Batter Up Pancakes seems to be one of the most delicious mixtures of breakfast food you can imagine. On a regular day this thing would feed between 4 and 6 people, but in order to complete the challenge you must attack it all by yourself and pray that you come out alive. I have passed this place countless times on my way through Chicago, but was completely unaware of the awesome food challenge that lurked inside it’s hallowed walls. There is nothing better than greasy breakfast food when you’re drunk or hungover, so a full mountain of the stuff is exactly what you need after a night of hard partying. Come to think of it, this would be a great challenge to attempt after going to the bars, I know I can always eat more than I normally do when I’ve got a 12 pack in my belly.

I love me some pulled pork, but when you add an extremely spicy sauce like the Voodoo Juice, I’m not sure that I could handle it. Spices and me don’t go too well together, not nearly as well as pork and I do, but as delicious as this challenge sounds I don’t think I’d be able to touch it. But just because I can’t handle the heat doesn’t mean that you guys can’t! Man v. Food Nation traveled down the Pacific Coast Highway in California last night and to top it all off was a BBQ challenge fit for a king. The Brahma Bull Challenge at Rib Line is an enormous BBQ sandwich that is sure to make you never want to eat BBQ again… wait, what are we saying, there’s nothing that could make me not want to eat BBQ again. Bring on the challenge!

Man v Food Nation is in full swing and this week we got to see a guy take on a monster ice cream sundae. If you haven’t watched the episode yet I’m going to ruin it for  you, sorry. This guy was extremely impressive in his attempt to take down 15 scoops of ice cream, plus toppings, in an hour. He was so impressive in fact, that the only reason he failed is because he was too fast. If you’ve ever heard that saying that you can’t drink a gallon of milk in an hour, well this is the same idea. There’s just too much dairy there to consume in under an hour, but he would have had it had he not eaten 90% of the sundae in 15 minutes. Either way it was an impressive showing and I have no doubt that if he tried it again and paced himself he’d have no problem finishing it off.

You have 5 burger challenges to choose from ranging from the Eagle’s challenge, which has 5 lbs of beef, all the way down to the Nick Lachey challenge which is 1.5 lbs of beef and comes with a side of washed-up pop star. What weighs 6 lbs. and is 10″… around? If you said The Beast burger challenge at Senser’s Sports Theater in Minnesota then you are right! If you were thinking something else… well, just keep it to yourself. We’ve featured a lot of burger challenges on this site, but I don’t think you can ever have enough! This burger is truly a beast and I applaud anyone who can accomplish a feat that only 1 man (at the time of this posting) has been able to accomplish, and it seems only fitting that he is in the United States Army. It’s been awhile since we’ve posted a pizza challenge so now seemed like a good time. Thanks to Eric for the submission we are now aware of a giant 22″ thick-crust, 13 lb pizza challenge known only as “The Big Kahuna”. Unlike most of the food challenges you’ll find on this site, this one can be attempted by a team of 2 people. And you’re going to need 2 people if you want to finish this monster in the alloted time, 22″ may not seem like a lot, but once you pile on the toppings it really adds up.
