Last night on Man v. Food Adam attempted to break the record for the most bowls of Joe Roger’s famous Firebrand Chili eaten in one sitting. In order to get your name on the wall of fame all you need to do is eat 1 bowl, but the record currently stood at 5 bowls, but Adam was up for the challenge. The first bowl was a struggle to get through, but he eventually hit is stride and polished off 5 bowls, tying the record and getting his name on the wall of fame. Based on Adam’s facial expressions after taking the first bite, this chili is no cake walk. If you think you can handle some very hot chili and have what it takes to break the record, give this challenge a shot. Or you could always finish one bowl and get your name on the wall.

A lot of you have been coming here looking for steak challenges so I decided that I’d bring you another large steak challenge today. This one isn’t quite as big as The Big Texan previously featured on the site, but it’s still a good hunk of meat. And since it’s smaller than the other steak challenges the time limit is also greatly reduced. You’re going to have to hustle to finish this thing off in the allotted time.

The Avalanche Challenge, as it’s called, consists of a monstrous 42 scoop sundae that is sure to freeze your brain on a hot summer day. The Fat Sandwich Company is known for their outrageously huge sandwiches that contain some of the most random ingredients you can imagine. Sandwiches contain everything from mozzarella cheese sticks and chicken fingers to jalapeno poppers and meatballs, the combinations are insane, but none are quite as insane as The Big Fat Ugly sandwich. This sandwich is packed with so many ingredients your mouth isn’t going to know what’s going on and with 3 locations in 3 different states, hopefully you can find one close enough to experience this awesomeness.

With 3 locations in Wisconsin and 1 in Illinois, you should have no problem finding a Prime Quarter Steakhouse to attempt the Beefeater’s Challenge at. This 40 oz top sirloin that you cook yourself is an amazing feat of food. It’s not quite as big as the 70+ oz’ers you can find in the Southwest, but it’s not a bad compromise. So if you’re looking for some steak head on down to the nearest Prime Quarter Steakhouse and try your hand, or should I say mouth, at the Beefeater!
