I know how you guys love wing challenges so I figured it was time to throw out another classic Man v. Food hot wing challenge, although in this case I may be a little late. I’m not sure if this challenge even exists anymore as the website for Quaker Steak and Lube now lists an even hotter wing sauce in their Triple Atomic Sauce which is supposedly 500,000 Scoville units where as the Atomic Sauce is only 150,000 Scoville units. I’ve also run into some conflicting reports regarding the rules of this challenge so please make sure to check with your server before you attempt this and if anyone has been there recently and knows if the challenge or rules have changed, please let us know so I can update this post.

Mmmmm Nachos…. I can’t decide if this challenge was named after a mountain or if a mountain should be named after this challenge, this thing is huge! If you’re looking for a BIG burger challenge in Michigan then the Cottage Cafe is where you want to be. The information on the website only states that the burger is so big that they don’t think you can eat it, while a little more digging reveals that the burger may hover around the 3 pound mark. So while we can’t confirm exactly how big the burger is, it better be big if they don’t think people can finish it.

Last night was a little different on Man v. Food. Instead of Adam taking on a food challenge of his own, he attempted to finish a 190 pound Guinness World Record holding burger at Mallie’s Sports Bar & Grill, with the help of 50 or so other people of course. Nobody had ever attempted this challenge which leads me to believe that it’s probably not a sanctioned challenge and just something Adam and the producers wanted to try. Sadly Adam and his team were not able to tame the beast in the 2 hours allotted and thus, Food won. And if you want to serve this massive burger up for a party at your home, Mallie’s will create and deliver this for only $2000!!

Looking for a great combination of baseball and food challenges? Then head on over to Fifth Third Ballpark in Grand Rapids, MI to see the Whitecaps take on their opponent as you take on yours, The Fifth Third Burger Challenge. This burger consists of 5, 1/3 pound burger patties topped with tons of condiments. Adam Richman from Man v. Food attempted this challenge last night and was able to conquer the beast in 2 innings. So if you think you have what it takes to defeat this monster burger and you want to see a baseball game while you attempt it, head on up to Fifth Third Ballpark and give it a shot.

The Rockford Corner Bar in Rockford, MI is home to the Hot Dog Hall of Fame and all you have to do to get your name on the wall is complete their hot dog challenge. If you think you really have what it takes you can try to eat 20 chili dogs to receive your meal for free, or you can go for the record of 43 1/2 hot dogs in 4 hours.
