I Bet You Won't

Do you have what it takes to be The Donkey? Baja Bean Co. doesn’t think you do, that’s why they are betting you can’t finish their 5 lb burrito challenge. I’m not really sure why it’s called the donkey, but it probably has something to do with the fact that this thing will kick your ass! It could also have something else to do with your ass, but I’m trying to keep this site as family friendly as I can. So give this challenge a shot and let us know how you do!

Challenge: The Donkey Challenge consists of  over 5 lbs of shredded pork, ground beef, rice, black beans, baja beans, baja salsa and sour cream all rolled into 4 flour tortillas topped with lettuce, tomato, guacamole, enchilada sauce, cheddar and jack cheese.
Time Limit: 30 Minutes
People: 1
Prize: $50 gift card, a certificate of completion and a “I Am The Donkey” T-shirt. If you fail you receive the dreaded “Donkey Fail” T-Shirt.
Rules: No rules mentioned, but make sure to ask your server before attempting this challenge.

Man v. Food Nation made a pit stop at Red Rock Saloon to give The Unforgiven Challenge a run for it’s money. Where else can you find a 1 lb burger complete with a deep fried chicken breast and a side of ridiculously hot wings… If you think you have what it takes then head on up to Milwaukee Wisconsin to give The Unforgiven Challenge a run for it’s money.

Challenge: The Unforgiven Challenge consists of a 1/2 lb burger topped with cheese and bacon, a deep fried chicken breast, and another 1/2 lb burger topped with cheese, bacon, an egg, lettuce, tomato and onion strings. A basket of fries and 6 T.C.B. ghost pepper wings.
Time Limit: 23 minutes

Prize: A free hat and t-shirt and a spot on the Wall of Fame.

Buffalo’s Chicken Shack in New Jersey is holding their annual Spicy Wing Challenge and registration is now open! This is not your typical challenge, this is a race. Normally you would just be competing against the clock and/or your stomach, but this time you also have to compete against others. So do you think you have what it takes to be crowned the “Buffalo King”? Then make sure to sign up soon, the contest is being held on August 27, 2011 at 3PM. Buffalo’s Chicken Shack of Wood Ridge, NJ will be hosting its Second Annual “Spicy Wing Challenge” eating contest.  In this contest challengers will compete for the title of “Buffalo King” based on the challenger that can eat the largest amount of our spiciest wings within the given time limit.   These are Jumbo Buffalo Wings that will be sauced with Buffalo’s secret recipe “NUMB YA FACE” spicy buffalo sauce that is measured at more than 500,000 SHU.  There will be plenty of water, milk and ice on hand for the dropouts that’ll need special “cool me down” attention.   This will be a great and fun event for the challengers as well as spectators.
