Last night on Man v. Food Adam ventured to Philadelphia to try out one of the most famous foods to come out of a city, ever; the Philly Cheesesteak. I’m not sure how long Tony Luke’s has been open, but the cheesesteak challenge was brand new when Adam and company visited the restaurant earlier in the year. There is no mention of the challenge on the website (that I can find) so I hope it’s still going on and is still the same as was mentioned on the show last night. Well I did take the challange. I did eat the entire thing two weeks ago. I did not get a refund. They took my number name and address. they told me they will call me when they get the shirts made up. Its been 2 weeks? I havent heard from them?
Thanks for the comment Big E, I wasn’t aware that there was mention of a refund or even a t-shirt, neither of those were mentioned as a prize on the Man v. Food episode, just the picture on the wall. But congrats on finishing the challenge!
I’ve checked out the website and it claims that you get a picture taken and t-shirt.

I am two weeks from taking this challenge. I havent been to their website or anything so I am not sure of any rules. I do know that I am going down there as one hungry dude. I may have to eat two just to degrade tony lukes challenge. Kidding. :+).

I happen to know a guy who did do this challenge & killed all of you. Jonathan Squibb… 4 minutes 54 seconds. That’s right!! Under 5 mins. I not only know him, but there is a video of it on facebook. Check it out. It’s NUTS!!!

I am actually watching the challenge on Man V Food right now and they were giving Adam and Tony 1 Hour to finish it, but yeah I did not hear them mention what type of reward would be given. I would like to know if the cheese they are using is the actual “Cheezwiz” you can buy in the supermarket or is it a special recipe? It sure looks good!
